The 2024 Youth Arts Competition deadline is June 21 was 1 p.m.

Premium Payments

Payments are in progress. If you do not receive your premium check by Oct. 31, please contact the entry department to check the status of your premium payment. For more specific information, contact Barb Prince in the entry department at (614)-644-4052 or at b.prince@expo.ohio.gov.

2024 Ohio State Fair Youth Arts Important Dates

June 21	Entry deadline at 1 p.m. All online entry information, payment, and uploaded images must be received.
June 30	Acceptance/Non-acceptance notices will be emailed to artists.
July 11	Shipped entries postmarked deadline. If entries are received past July 18, we cannot guarantee placement in the exhibit.
Thursday, July 18	Artwork drop off, 3-7 p.m., Kasich Hall
Friday, July 19	Artwork drop off, 3-7 p.m., Kasich Hall
Saturday, July 20	Artwork drop off, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Kasich Hall
July 24	Award notifications and ceremony details will be emailed.
August 2-4	Youth Chalk Art Competition (check-in at Kasich Hall B).
August 4	Youth Arts Award Ceremony, 4-5 p.m., Kasich Hall. Art will be released for pickup after the ceremony from 5-6 p.m.
August 5	Artwork Pickup, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Kasich Hall

Winner forms

Forms to be completed by those who receive $499 or more in premium winnings. All exhibitors who win $499 or more in premiums must use this link to visit the State of Ohio Supplier website using the link above. If you have previously registered with the state as a supplier in previous years, you do not need to register again. If not completed, your premium payment cannot be processed.
