Shuttles run from 10:30 a.m. – Midnight

Avoid Fair traffic with additional parking available weekends only (Saturday, July 27, Sunday, July 28, and Saturday, Aug. 3) at the Long Street Garage located at 56 East Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Comfortable, air-conditioned shuttle buses will run from the garage straight to the OHIO Gate (11th Avenue) entrance of the Ohio State Fair, and will take fairgoers back to the parking garage at the end of their visit. Off-site parking will not be used for parking on Sunday, Aug. 4.

Parking
General parking is free to fairgoers in the main O'Reilly Auto Parts parking lots north of the Cardinal Gate. Reserved parking is not available to the general public for purchase.

Public Transportation
COTA Line 8 and Line 22 bus stops are available on 11^th Ave just west of Ohio Gate 8 South Entrance.

Bus Parking

• Approach the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair on Interstate 71
• Take Exit 111 for 17th Avenue
• Turn West toward the Ohio Expo Center
• Follow the road and cones onto the grounds through the plaza (to your right/north).
• When you reach the four-way stop at Velma Ave, turn LEFT (south) toward Gate 2.
• Proceed down Velma Ave through Gate 2 and past Gate 3; a gate attendant will direct you to the parking area.

Invasive Spotted Lanternfly

See it, squish it!

Stomp out the invasive, Spotted Lanternfly.

The Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive insect that has made its way across Ohio. In an effort to prevent the spread of the bug, please check your vehicle before you leave the fairgrounds to make sure these excellent hitchhikers don’t accompany you on the ride home.

The bug is not harmful to humans and does not bite, but it can harm Ohio’s crops, fruits, plants, and trees.

Spotted lanternflies are approximately one inch, with black bodies and brightly colored wings.

The invasive insect should not impact your fair visit, but please do your part and make sure they are not on or under your vehicle.

Spotted lanternflies have already been confirmed in the Franklin County area and do not need to be reported to the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

From the North
Take I-71 South to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the South
Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the East
Take I-70 West to I-71 North. Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

From the West
Take I-70 East to I-71 North. Take I-71 North to 17th Avenue/Exit 111. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas.

Local visitors

Those visiting the Ohio Expo Center from within Columbus may also reach the facility by taking North Fourth Avenue (from the south) or Summit Street (from the north) to 17th or 11th Avenues.
