2024 Ohio State Fair Creative Arts, Cooking & Baking Important Dates

June 21	Entry deadline at 1 p.m. All entry information and payment must be received.
July 11	Shipped entries postmarked deadline. If entries are received past July 18, we cannot guarantee placement in the exhibit.
Thursday, July 18	Cooking, Baking & Preserved Foods drop off, 3-7 p.m., Kasich Hall.
Friday, July 19	Cooking, Baking & Preserved Foods drop off, 3-7 p.m., Kasich Hall.
Saturday, July 20	Cooking, Baking & Preserved Foods drop off, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Kasich Hall.
August 5	Cooking, Baking & Preserved Foods pickup, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Kasich Hall

Recipes from Chef Gary

Chef Gary was involved in the Ohio State Fair as a competitor, judge, and demonstrator for more than 50 years. Chef Gary passed away in 2023. We are so grateful that he spent many years sharing his craft at the Ohio State Fair.
