Baking temperature: 375 degrees F
Baking time: 10-12 minutes
Yield: 2 dozen
Ingredients
- ½ c butter
- 1 ½ c brown sugar (not packed)
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ c King Arthur 1-1 flour
- 1 t baking soda
- ½ t baking powder
- ½ r salt
- ½ c sour cream
Icing:
- 4 T butter
- 1 ½ c powdered sugar
- ½ t vanilla
Instructions
- Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, blend well. Add dry ingredients and sour cream, blend well. Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees
- Allow to cool
Icing
- Brown butter (no substitutes). Add powdered sugar and vanilla and enough hot water to make a spreading consistency
- Once cookies are cooled, drizzle or spread the icing then ready for eating
