Horseradish Bread

First place, Quick Breads (Vegetable Bread Loaf), 2017

Baking temperature: 375 degrees
Baking time: 60-70 minutes
Yield: 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1½ t salt
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • ¾ c milk
  • ¼ c oil
  • 1 T prepared mustard
  • 1 T horseradish
  • 1 t fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Stir first 4 ingredients together. Set aside
  • Mix the wet ingredients together and add them all at once to the dry
  • Stir only until the dry is moistened
  • Pour the batter into a greased standard loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees for 60-70 minutes
  • Cool for 20 minutes and remove from pan
