Lenore Meila grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University and has a background in corporate and non-profit communications, marketing and event planning working for Nationwide Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, Cardinal Health and the Mid East United Dairy Industry Association. She is also the owner of Central Ohio Estate & Tag Sales, an estate liquidation company, that she started in 2018 helping owners liquidate property through on-site auctions and on-line sales.
Lenore’s passion for the arts began at age eight after learning to crochet. She has since added cross stitching, knitting, paper making, quilting, rug hooking, sewing, and weaving to her portfolio of skills and is a fiber artist. She also dabbles in mixed media, has taught classes for Joann Fabric and Craft Stores, Michaels and other local venues. Spending time with other creative people is one of Lenore’s favorite activities.
Lenore lives in Clintonville with her four beloved pets, is a member of several groups including the Clintonville Arts Guild and the Central Ohio Weaving and Fiberarts Guild. She is excited about her new role to continue showcasing the creative, fine art and culinary talents of Ohioans and to growing these areas as well.
