Ingredients
- 3 lbs. green tomatoes, cored and chopped
- 2 green peppers, seeded and diced
- 2 red peppers, seeded and diced
- 3 large onions, diced
- 1 small head of green cabbage, finely grated
- 3 T salt
- 2 ½ c white vinegar
- 3 c sugar
- 1 t celery salt
- 2 T mustard seed
- 2 t ground mustard
- 2 t turmeric
Instructions
- Combine all vegetables in large bowl, salt vegetables and soak overnight. The next day, drain well
- Combine all other ingredients in a large pot and bring to a simmer
- Add vegetables and bring to a boil, boil 10 minutes
- Ladle relish into prepared jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace and process for 15 minutes
