Calling all youth artists grades 1 – 12! The Ohio State Fair is still accepting original artwork for this year’s youth arts exhibit. Have your masterpieces exhibited to more than 6,400 visitors and compete with some of the best youth artists in the state to win various prizes and scholarship opportunities!

In addition to individual awards, the school or home school affiliation submitting the most entries will receive $1,500 to support their art program, as well as a trophy to proudly display. This award is made possible through the support of Easton Town Center.

Want to have your artwork viewed by more than 5,000 visitors this year? Ohio’s First Lady Karen W. Kasich puts a Spotlight on youth arts by choosing three pieces of artwork to be showcased at the Governor’s Residence for one year.

One artist from the elementary school level and one from the middle school level will be awarded a Saturday Class Scholarship to CCAD’s Saturday Morning Art Classes, which run for two 10-week terms during the school year. In addition, one artist from the high school level will be awarded a CCAD College Scholarship to be applied toward the cost of full-time undergraduate tuition.

Artwork mediums accepted include: abstract, acrylic, ceramics, charcoal, collage, mixed media, oil painting, original cartoon, painting, pastels, pen/ink, pencil and sculpture. Click here for more information.
