Public Utilities Commission of Ohio
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) regulates providers of utility services, including electric and natural gas companies, landline telephone companies, water and wastewater companies, trucking and moving companies, and railroad crossing safety. The PUCO was created to assure Ohioans adequate, safe, and reliable public utility services at a fair price.
The PUCO can provide support for Ohioans on a variety of utility related matters from energy choice to motor carrier regulations, energy conservation and energy assistance programs.
