FEATURED ACTIVITIES ON JULY 30 AT THE OHIO STATE FAIR

COLUMBUS, July 29, 2009
With competitions, entertainment, art exhibits, great food and much more, the Ohio State Fair offers a wide variety of exciting options for fairgoers. Tomorrow’s events include:
Kroger Day
Kroger Plus card members: Present your card at a booth outside entrance gates to receive a $4 admission coupon for each member in your party.
Jeff Dunham
AEP Ohio Concert Series
WCOL Celeste Center, 7 p.m.
See hysterical ventriloquist Jeff Dunham perform live and hear the best of Achmed, Bubba J, Walter and Peanut. The whole gang will have you laughing the night away.
Boxing Tournaments
ShowPlace Pavilion, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Don’t miss the action as these athletes go head-to-head inside the ring showcasing their ability, sportsmanship and perseverance.
Pig Races
East of the NBC4 Family Fun Stage, 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.
Choose your favorite oinker and cheer for these swift swine as they race around the track for a prize. Three different species of pigs compete at each race.
Ron Diamond
Main Street Stage presented by WBWR, 6 p.m., 8:30 p.m.
Ron Diamond’s hilarious hypnosis is sure to intrigue audiences both young and old. Each program brings a unique experience you’re sure to never forget.
Kid’s Games hosted by the Junior Fair Board
NBC4 Family Fun Stage, 3:30 p.m.
Kids of all ages can enjoy these fun and entertaining games and activities, offered nearly every day and hosted by the Junior Fair Board.
Junior and Open Milking Shorthorn Dairy Shows
Cooper Arena, 10 a.m.
Watch these fine young exhibitors showcase their hard work and display their cattle.
Pop Tarts Summer Tour
North entrance of the Midway, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Check out the Pop Tarts Summer Tour to receive Pop Tart samples and free giveaways.
Gates are open from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
