OHIO STATE FAIR IN SEARCH OF HIGH SCHOOL INSTRUMENTALISTS AND VOCALISTS
All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir
COLUMBUS, February 24, 2009
The Ohio State Fair is looking for talented young musicians for membership in the prestigious All-Ohio State Fair Band and the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir.
Interested and dedicated high school musicians who are students in grades 9 - 12 are encouraged to apply for membership. The All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir are traditions at the Ohio State Fair that continue to be anticipated features each year.
Participating students gain a unique musical and educational experience, as well as an opportunity to build many lasting friendships during a two-week stay at the Ohio State Fair. Being a member of the band or choir offers a valuable challenge to learn and perform music of varied genres, as well as an opportunity to work with a staff of talented and motivational music educators from across Ohio.
Interested high school students may obtain an application from their local school band or choir directors, or download them from ohiostatefair.com at the following direct links:

The Ohio Expo Center is proud to host the Ohio State Fair. With a spectacular midway, big-name entertainment, hundreds of exhibits and one of the largest junior shows in the nation, the 2009 Ohio State Fair will run July 29 - August 9.
