Attention all exiting fourth grade students and teachers: The Ohio State Fair is offering free admission for you! Not only is the admission free, but students could win a $500 scholarship and two lucky teachers will win a field trip for their class.

All Ohio students who were in fourth grade for the 2013-2014 academic year are eligible for free Fair entry simply by showing their report card at the admission gate.

Students won’t want to miss out on this great opportunity to have some Fair fun and learn about agriculture. At the Ag Is Cool education stations, students can participate in awesome activities, like milking a real cow!

For the fourth consecutive year, the Agriculture is Cool program, inspired by the initiative of Gov. John R. Kasich, is creating scholarships for Ohio fourth grade students. By simply attending the Fair and writing an essay on what they learned, students could receive a $500 scholarship. For more information and official rules, see www.agri.ohio.gov/AgIsCool.

Teachers can get in on the free Fair action, too! Anyone who teaches fourth grade can sign up for free admission to the Fair and a chance to win a field trip for their class. Applicants must complete this form (http://ow.ly/xHJnR) prior to July 1, 2014. Participating teachers will be emailed an admission voucher that can be used any day of the Fair, running July 23 through Aug. 3.

For the voucher form and more information, see agri.ohio.gov/AgIsCool.

Don’t miss out on this exciting offer to experience the 2014 Ohio State Fair for free! It will certainly be the fairest of them all!
