Several city streets will close in preparation for the 160th Ohio State Fair, which will run from July 24 – Aug. 4, 2013. The streets will close at 7 am on Sunday, July 21 and will re-open at 7 am on Monday, Aug. 5.

Streets closing:
  • 17th Avenue from Clara Avenue on the east to Dora Avenue on the west
  • Velma Avenue from 17th Avenue on the south to Maynard Avenue on the north
  • Korbel Avenue from 17th Avenue on the south to 20th Avenue on the north
  • Silver Drive extension

Get ready for the 160th Ohio State Fair, July 24 – Aug. 4! Enjoy a variety of activities and exhibits including interactive educational displays, sporting competitions, a fine arts show, free stages with amazing hypnotists, impressive magicians and wholesome kids’ entertainment, exotic animals in the free petting zoo, a farm animal delivery room, helicopter rides, roving performers, youth agricultural competitions, horse shows, an eight acre natural resources park with free kiddie fishing, wildlife and much more! The Midway features more than 60 exhilarating rides sure to excite you, while Kiddieland is home to rides geared toward parents riding with small children. You won’t be able to resist all your favorite Fair goodies from any of the nearly 200 food vendors.

Discounts on Admission and Ride Wristbands
Save on gate admission prices with $6 tickets available through August 4 at Kroger, participating AAA locations with AAA membership and Ticketmaster outlets. Purchase ride-all-day wristband vouchers (to be redeemed at the Fair for a wristband) for only $20 at Ticketmaster outlets through July 23 only.
