After months of preparation and hard work on behalf of the exhibitors, we are happy to announce the participants in the 2015 Ohio State Fair Sale of Champions! The sale will be held on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 2 pm in the WCOL Celeste Center, and will be televised on the Ohio Channel statewide.

This year’s sale will include nine champions: Grand and Reserve Champion Market Beef, Grand and Reserve Champion Market Barrow, Grand and Reserve Champion Market Lamb, Grand Champion Market Goat, and Grand Champion Swiss Cheese (representing the six dairy champions) and Grand Champion Poultry. Because no live poultry were exhibited at the Fair this year, the revised Sale of Champions format will highlight top youth poultry skillathon winners in each age class rather than Grand and Reserve Champion Market Chickens and Grand Champion Market Turkey. This extends the opportunity to participate in the Sale of Champions to breeding and waterfowl exhibitors for the first time in history.
